What is Hungarian Guest Investor Program?

In 2024, the Hungarian government passed the General Rules for the Entry and Residence of Third Country Nationals Act (T/6079). This is the golden investment residence program. One person applies, and the whole family of three generations can be approved for a 10+10-year investment residence card. This is the fastest approved and most attractive program in the EU. Visitor investors and their families can obtain a ten-year long-term residence status through this method, which can be renewed for another ten years upon expiration.

40% of the funds of the approved real estate fund will be invested in the Hungarian residential real estate market, with a 5-year fund closed period. You can choose to withdraw after five years. The fund’s issuer must be a real estate fund registered with the Hungarian National Bank and regulated by European financial regulators.
