What is the EU Blue Card?

The EU Blue Card is a residence permit that allows the holder to reside in a member state and also has the right to work in a highly skilled job.

The EU Blue Card gives holders with higher education the right to reside and work in the EU.

The EU Blue Card is valid in 25 of the 27 EU member states, with the exception of Denmark and Ireland.

One person applies for the entire family to move, and the applicant’s spouse and children under 18 can accompany them. After meeting the residence time requirements and tax requirements, you can apply for permanent residence in Hungary after 3 years and in the EU after 5 years.
